What is Vértice?
Vértice is the megacity of the year 2202 where Inkomic games take place. It is split into strata: the Consortium towers on top, the Lows at ground level and, outside the domes, the Wasteland.
Which games are set in this universe?
Inkomic Bricks, an endless brick breaker for Android and an original Inkomic game. More are coming soon.
How many factions are there?
Seven: District 725 Mechanics, Wasteland Scavengers, Cryogenic Cult of the Abyss, Clandestine Vanguard, The Vértice Consortium, Underwater Domes and Singularity Syndicate. Each one masters an element.
Who are the Wasteland Scavengers?
Humans who were left outside the domes in 2172 and live in the toxic desert. The climate slightly mutated their skin, which became scaly. They raid convoys and travelers to steal their supplies. Their leader is Rhazek.
Who is the Cryogenic Cult of the Abyss?
Exiles from the underwater domes who guard the natural resources left on the planet, such as fresh water and forests preserved under the ice. Their territory advances as the glaciation advances. Their leader is Erica.
Who is the Clandestine Vanguard?
The faction that lives beneath the cities, in the sewers. They took over the abandoned factories and smuggle the resources and materials the Consortium rations. Their leader is Drenko.
Who rules Vértice?
The Vértice Consortium: it sets the rules in every state and controls power from the heights, in towers, flying platforms and floating domes far from the toxins of the ground. Lina is the mayor of Vértice.
Who are the Underwater Domes?
The high-ranking humans who moved beneath the sea in 2172 to escape the catastrophe and the pollution. They live in sealed domes in the ocean trenches and come to the surface on raids led by Tritón.
Who are the Void?
The Singularity Syndicate: humans corrupted by science who seek to solve the problems of physics and the singularity. They are everywhere, wandering, mysterious and very powerful. They rarely get involved in the factions’ conflicts unless something drags them in indirectly, although some work as mercenaries for other factions.
What happened in 2172?
Global warming made the surface toxic, every attempt to colonize other planets failed and the elite sealed itself in underwater domes. The District 725 Mechanics raised emergency domes to save the population.
